Sponsored by Syngenta in partnership with Meister Media Worldwide, publishers of American Vegetable Grower^®, American Fruit Grower^®, Western Fruit Grower^TM, and Florida Grower^TM magazines, and the United Fresh Produce Association, the Grower Achievement Awards have been developed with the purpose of honoring grower operations that have taken production agriculture to new levels of innovation, commitment to food quality and safety, and technological advancement.

Award winners will be selected for their excellence in several different areas of endeavor, including the following:

• Innovative, consumer-oriented marketing efforts;

• Commitment to produce quality and food safety;
• Technological innovation;
• Leadership, activism, outreach, and environmental stewardship.

The winner & nominator will both receive:

• All expense paid trip to Washington D.C.

• Invitation to join colleagues and policy makers at United's Washington Public Policy Conference in 2008
• The winner will also:
  Be recognized and honored during the policy conference as the recipient of the 2008 Grower Achievement Award
